After spending almost 15 years as a geotechnical engineer at various large geotechnical consulting firms in California, USA, Mr. Sindhu Rudianto, P.E., G.E. return to Jakarta in 2004 to take lead on the Grand Indonesia project and then establish PT Geo Prima with fellow cofounder Mr. Bobby Soedjono S.T.

PT. Geo Prima is the predecessor of PT Geo Optima, where Mr. Sindhu Rudianto and the late Mr. S.P. Limasalle estabilished the geotechnical consulting firm in 1994. Since its establishment, PT Geo Prima has delivered many prestigous large and complex geotechnical design projects and provided construction supervision to ensure the compliance with the specification. Backed by a team of over fifty full-time, experienced staffs (field and office) member, PT. Geo Prima continues to implement all aspects of geotechnical design criteria into the projects.

In addition, we also acquire the most cutting-edge technology in both foundation and earthquake engineering analyses through our retention of the foremost international experts as part of our in-house consultants. Further, we are able to provide class leading geotechnical implementations for construction supervision and instrumentation monitoring program.

Geotechnical Design

Geo Prima provides geotechnical design services by well-experienced geotechnical engineers for projects in Indonesia and abroad. Our capability includes design for various foundation system, deep excavation, slope stability, earth retaining structures and earthquake engineering. Our company is the pioneer of using the innovative “soil nailing” technique for shoring the 12 m deep excavation in Wisma GKBI in 1994. We also lead the use of instrumented loading test to optimize the design of pile foundation. Our teams have collaborated with foremost earthquake experts from USA to develop the state-of–practice seismic site response and liquefaction analysis as well as earthquake time history for Performance-Based Design (PBD).

Geo Prima offers a wide range of geotechnical testing and instrumentation to assure the end products meet the design plans and specification. We are the leading company to implement the instrumented test pile in Indonesia using vibrating wire strain gauges (VWSG) and extensometers (permanent and retrievable).

Over the year, we expand our services to provide all types of geotechnical testing from Pile Dynamic Analyzer (PDA), Pile Integrity Test (PIT), ultrasonic verticality test (koden test), inclinometer installation and monitoring, water stand pipe, surface and embedded load cells for loading test and shoring walls, seismic Down hole and SASW testing. Our testing teams also provide assistance in carrying out the static loading tests and Bi-directional testing.
